Cambodian Cabinet Meeting Approves the Draft Industrial Development Policy 2015-2025

PM: Cambodia Is a Country with Great Potential for Growth

Cambodian PM Receives the First Cambodian-American State Legislator

image001Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen received here this morning at the Peace Palace visiting H.E. Rady Mom, the first Cambodian-American Legislator of Massachusetts House of image002Representatives, representing the 18th Middlesex district.

According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian premier, H.E. Rady Mom told Samdech Techo Hun Sen of his homeland visit and sought recommendations from the prime minister.

In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said no school teaches us to be a legislator, but the work itself teaches us everyday while the effective work is based on the information on hand. Continue reading

NA Presidents Supports the Constructive, not Radical Opposition

In the meeting, Samdech Heng Samrin briefed H.E. Rady Mom of the image003political situation in the country, saying that currently, Cambodia’s NA is comprised of lawmakers from two political parties – 68 from the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and the remaining 55 from the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP).

The NA president expressed his support to the constructive opposition, but not to the radical opposition. “I appreciate and support the presence of opposition party because the opposition party is a mirror to reflect the ruling party in order to revise the missing points, but I don’t support any opposition party that wish to overthrow the leaders,” he said. Stung Meanchey Flyover Put Into Use

image002Cambodia’s third flyover, Stung Meanchey, was inaugurated here this image003morning under the presidency of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The construction of this butterfly-shape flyover is image004aimed to contribute to solving the traffic congestion in the capital city.

In June, a 266-meter-long and 8 to 10-meter-wide underpass, which is part of the Stung Meanchey Flyover Construction Project, was put in use.

The first two pass-over bridges are Kbal Thnal Flyover along Preah Monivong Blvd adjacent to Preah Monivong Bridge, and the January 7 Flyover, at the intersection of Pet Lok Sang (Monks’ Hospital) traffic lights. Continue reading

DPM Sok An Presides Over Graduation Ceremony of 140 Law Students

Mr. Bun Honn, President of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said the training of lawyer-to-be students was divided into two stages by recruiting the students to be trained until they take their exams for the first stage, while the second stage the ongoing education, the unlimited training that they will be involving in working with their professions.
