Cambodian PM Attends the Opening of Asian African Summit in Indonesia

Indonesia 1Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech indonesiaattended the opening ceremony of the Asian African held this morning in Jakarta, Indonesia under the theme of Strengthening indonesia 2South-South Cooperation to Promote World Peace and Prosperity.

According to the National Television of Cambodia (TVK), Samdech Techo Hun Sen and other Heads of State/Government and high level delegates from over 120 countries in Asia and Africa were warmly welcomed by H.E. Joko Widodo, President of Indonesia.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen delivered his speech at the 2nd plenary session of the Asian African Summit this afternoon after the lunch break.

At the first Asian African Conference in 1995 in Bandung, Indonesia, His Majesty the late King-Father Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk, who then represented Cambodia to attend the event, raised his core principles of respecting the right to self-decision of each country in choosing their own political system, of respecting mutual sovereignty, of non-interfering in other countries’ internal affairs, and of focusing on economic development.
