Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, Cambodian first lady, was re-elected unanimously as the President of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) at the 6th CRC General Assembly held here yesterday afternoon at Chaktomuk Conference Hall.
Addressing to the closing ceremony of the 6th CRC General Assembly on the same day, Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen expressed his congratulations to Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen on her re-election and his full support to all the elected members of the CRC Central Committee for this 6th mandate.
The Cambodian premier was strongly convinced that all the CRC’s members, volunteers and youths will continue to work harder to build more new capacity on humanitarian works in response to any eventual disasters.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also affirmed the royal government’s support in terms of policy, law and supporting mechanisms as well as in material and financial assistance to boost and encourage the CRC to implement its 2011-2020 strategy so as to achieve new success in this new mandate.
For her part, Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen expressed her commitment to strengthen the CRC’s leadership in the spirit of responsibility and good governance, and to tighten the solidarity, unity, and cooperation in the response, rescue and challenge resolution works.
