Cambodia, Turkey Condemn ISIS

image010Cambodian and Turkish top diplomats this morning condemned the Islamic State militant group, formerly known as ISIS, and supported the eradication of ISIS from the world.

Speaking at a joint press conference held here at the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFA-IC) after their bilateral talks, H.E. Hor Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of MFA-IC, and visiting H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, shared the same idea that ISIS is a very brutal organization and it does not represent Islam.

H.E. Hor Namhong said Cambodia strongly condemned the ISIS’ brutal acts and supported all the anti-ISIS operations.

Both top diplomats also expressed their dissatisfaction with the Iranian nuclear program and their support to the Six-Party Talks (the P5+1) in the upcoming July to contain the program.
