Cambodian PM Receives New South Korea’s Ambassador

image001H.E. Kim Weon Jin, newly accredited Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Cambodia paid a courtesy call on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo image002Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on Feb. 18 at the Peace Palace.

On the occasion, the South Korean diplomat pledged to try his best to bolster the bilateral relations between the two countries and to encourage more tourists to visit Cambodia during his diplomatic mission.

He also told Samdech Techo Hun Sen that he had taken his trip to Kampong Cham and Kampong Speu provinces while the New Village Movement Project of the Government of the Republic of Korea was ready to be fully driven in Cambodia.

For his part, Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen congratulated the nomination of H.E. Kim Weon Jin as the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Cambodia. He emphasized that Cambodia really wanted the emergence of the New Village Movement because it could help Cambodia reach the development and it could be combined with the Village-Commune Safety Policy, which is being carried out in Cambodia.

The Cambodian premier also wished H.E. Kim Weon Jin’s diplomatic mission successful in the country.
