Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, during his stay in Busan, the Republic of Korea (RoK), to attend the 2014 ASEAN-RoK Commemorative Summit, received on Thursday President of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) H.E. Kim Young-mok, reported the National Television of Cambodia (TVK).
In the meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen and H.E. Kim Young-mok discussed the New Village Movement development project and other development projects funded by KOICA in Cambodia.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen sought KOICA’s further support to two important projects – the construction of center of technology and productivity and the development of New Village Movement.
These two projects are very important for Cambodia as they will contribute to promoting the higher education and rural development in Cambodia, he underlined.
For his part, H.E. Kim Young-mok expressed his appreciation for the existing cooperation between KOICA and Cambodia, and informed Samdech Techo Hun Sen that 40 percent of KOICA’s total budget will contribute to the development of various projects in Cambodia.
