Cambodia and Bangladesh must become good partners in the fields of trade and investment as well as in other fields, Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen said at a dinner reception hosted on Monday in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
According to the National Television of Cambodia (TVK), Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his strong hope that the economy of the two countries will see a high growth in the near future.
Cambodia-Bangladesh trade volume is low, but after both countries sign some agreements, including the agreement on the promotion and reciprocal protection of investment, they will find more opportunities to expand their economic, trade, investment, education, and cultural ties, underlined Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
A high-ranking delegation led by Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen has been on a three-day official visit in Bangladesh since June 16, at the invitation of his Bangladeshi Prime Minister, H.E. Ms. Sheikh Hasina.
