Cambodian PM Donates US$10,000 to a Pagoda in Bangladesh

image004Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen donated yesterday US$10,000 to Dharmajika, an ancient pagoda in Bangladesh.

According to the National Television of Cambodia (TVK), the donation is aimed to contribute to the construction of different achievements in the pagoda, which currently houses 670 monks.

On the same day, the Cambodian premier also paid a visit to the industrial and commercial area in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, and laid a wreath at a memorial monument in honor of fallen combatants as well as planted a young tree as souvenir.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen and his entourage arrived on June 16 in Dhaka for a three-day official visit in Bangladesh, at the invitation of his Bangladeshi counterpart, H.E. Ms. Sheikh Hasina.
