PM Hun Sen Receives a Delegation of Vietnam People’s Army

image004Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen receives on Monday at his residence in Takhmao town, Kandal province, a visiting delegation of Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) led by General Tran Don, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Chairman of the VPA’s 7th Military Region.

In the meeting, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the excellent cooperation between the two neighboring countries, especially through the visit of Samdech Techo Hun Sen to Vietnam and that of the Vietnamese Prime Minister H.E. Nguyen Tan Dung to Cambodia in late 2013 and early 2014 respectively, H.E. Sry Thamrong, Delegate Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, told reporters after the meeting.

General Tran Don reaffirmed the VPA’s commitment to continue its close cooperation with the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF), particularly in carrying out all agreements adopted by both governments to promote the bilateral cooperation in the areas of politics, economy, trade and investment to a new peak.

General Tran Dung also conveyed New Year greetings from VPA’s leaders to Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the occasion of the upcoming Khmer New Year.
