PM Hun Sen Receives Honorary President of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung


image001Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, received here this morning at the Peace Palace visiting Prof. Dr. Bernhard Vogel, Honorary Chairman of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The meeting touched on information dissemination and internet use in Cambodia, H.E. Ieng Sophalet, Assistant to the Cambodian prime minister, told reporters following the talks.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen recalled his previous meeting with Prof. Dr. Bernhard Vogel, during which both sides discussed the decentralization and deconcentration issues in Cambodia. The premier took the opportunity to thank profoundly KAS for its assistance to Cambodia, particularly in the fields of decentralization and deconcentration as well as in information dissemination, said the assistant.

Samdech Tech Hun Sen further underlined that media, including social media, is free in Cambodia. He also wished to boost the use of internet at public schools throughout the country, added the assistant.
