Cho Ray Phnom Penh Hospital was inaugurated here this morning under the chairmanship of Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and his Vietnamese counterpart H.E. Nguyen Tan Dung.
Dr. Nguyen Hoang Nam, Director of Cho Ray, said Cho Ray Phnom Penh Hospital offers 40 different medical treatments. Besides Vietnamese medical experts, the hospital also employs 50 Cambodian medical doctors and 80 Cambodian nurses who have been trained in Vietnam, he added.
Built between May 2010 and November 2013 on an area of five hectares along the National Road No. 1 in Meanchey district, the 500-bed Cho Ray Phnom Penh Hospital is one of the fruitful cooperation between Phnom Penh Capital of Cambodia and Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam.
