CRC Collects over US$14 Million

image001At the 150th Anniversary of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day held here yesterday under the chairmanship of Samdech image002Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) collected over US$14 million from different donors.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen underlined that all donations have been always provided for emergency and humanitarian activity support to give hope and warm to vulnerable families, basically elderly and homeless people, widows, orphans, and HIV/AIDS infected patients.

During the event, Samdech Techo Hun Sen also thanked Samdech Kittiprittbindit Bun Rany Hun Sen, CRC President, and other wives of senior leaders of the Royal Government of Cambodia, who have always paid attention to their own duties and tasks to make CRC more lively and to further actively participate in national social development, poverty alleviation, dignity and national human value promotion, which are considered as a valuable achievement.

Moreover, Samdech Techo Hun Sen also admired and highly valued Cambodian Red Cross Youth who have actively fulfilled their duties with high responsibility, by suggesting more active participation, mainly among students.
