Outgoing Malaysian Ambassador Bids Farewell to Cambodian PM

image004Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here last Friday at the Peace Palace outgoing Malaysian Ambassador H.E. Datuk Mohd Hussein.

During the farewell meeting, H.E. Datuk Mohd Hussein thanked Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian government officials and people for their support and cooperation for the success of his diplomatic mission in Cambodia, according to H.E. Ieng Sophalet, Assistant to the Cambodian premier.

The outgoing Malaysian diplomat also congratulated Cambodia on its achievements, including the successful hosting of the ASEAN Summits and related Summits.

H.E. Datuk Mohd Hussein further appreciated the Royal Government of Cambodia’s efforts in attracting foreign investors to the country. More and more Malaysian investors have come to Cambodia and the bilateral trade between the two nations has also seen an increase, he added.

For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed thanks to H.E. Ambassador for his tireless efforts in encouraging Malaysian investors to Cambodia and boosting Cambodian-Malaysian relationship.
