Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here yesterday at the Peace Palace visiting Dr. Makarim Wibisono, Chairman of the 2nd General Assembly of the Centrist Asia-Pacific Democrats International (CAPDI).
In the meeting, Dr. Makarim Wibisono highly valued and congratulated Cambodia on its rapid development, H.E. Ieng Sophalet, assistant to the Cambodian premier told reporters after the meeting.
Dr. Makarim Wibisono invited Samdech Techo Hun Sen to attend the upcoming General Assembly of CAPDI scheduled to be held in May at Makassar, Indonesia.
The agendas of this forthcoming meeting will include the review on the first meeting’s works, the discussion on climate change issue as well as the flow of investments into the Asian region, he told the Cambodian prime minister.
In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen welcomed the agendas of the 2nd General Assembly of CAPDI and encouraged CAPDI to increase its activities and voice so as to promote peaceful coordination and development.
