Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and his Vietnamese counterpart H.E. Nguyen Tan Dung have lauded the economic growth in the two neighboring countries despite the recent global economic crisis.
In their bilateral talk this morning in Vientiane, Laos, prior to the opening ceremony of the 7th Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Summit, both premiers spoke highly of Cambodia-Vietnam existing cooperation and economic growth, which reached over 7 percent and 5 percent in 2012 respectively, according to the National Television of Cambodia (TVK)’s special envoy.
The two leaders were committed to further boost both countries’ economic growth through strengthening and expanding their cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, investment and tourism, said the special envoy.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen stressed on the importance of consolidating the cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam along their common border so as to boost more economic growth, added the special envoy.
