Phnom Penh, the Capital City of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Bangkok, the Capital City of the Kingdom of Thailand reach here this afternoon an agreement on the establishment of sister-city relationship to boost more bilateral cooperation and development.
The agreement was inked by H.E. Kep Chuktema, Governor of Phnom Penh, and H.E. Sukhumbhand Paribatra, Governor of Bangkok.
At the singing ceremony, H.E. Sukhumbhand Paribatra congratulated Phnom Penh on its development and thank the Phnom Penh Municipality for its warm hospitality during his stay in Cambodia.
The Bangkok governor also pledged to promote more cooperation between the two capital cities.
For his part, H.E. Kep Chuktema said this agreement will further enhance and tighten the solidarity and friendship between the people in both capital cities.
