PM Leaves for ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit in India

image003Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen departed this morning for the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit from Dec. 20-21 in New Delhi, India.

The Cambodian premier was accompanied by H.E. Hor Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; H.E. Cham Prasidh, Senior Minister and Minister of Commerce; H.E. Sun Chanthol, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia; and other members of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will attend and co-chair the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit with his Indian counterpart H.E. Dr. Manmohan Singh to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ASEAN-India Dialogue Relations and the 10th Anniversary of ASEAN-India Summit.

At the end of the summit, Heads of the State/Government of the ASEAN Member States and India will adopt the Vision Statement of the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit, it indicated.

On the sidelines, added the press release, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, as Chair of ASEAN, will deliver Short Remarks at the Ceremonial Flag-Down of the ASEAN India Car Rally, and hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Manmohan Singh.
