Cambodian Premier Receives His Lao and Vietnamese Counterparts

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this afternoon held separate talks with his visiting Lao and Vietnamese counterparts at the Peace Palace.

On behalf of their parties, governments and peoples, H.E. Thongsing Thammavong, Prime Minister of Laos, and H.E. Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of Vietnam extended their deepest condolences to the Royal Government of Cambodia, the royal family and the Cambodian people over the loss of a Khmer great statesman, King-Father Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk, H.E. Ieng Sophalet, assistant to Samdech Techo Hun Sen told reporters.

 For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen profoundly thanked the Lao and Vietnamese leaders for having expressed their condolences to the Cambodian government, royal family and people, especially H.E. Thongsing Thammavong as well as H.E. Nguyen Tan Dung for having led a delegation to Cambodia to pay tribute to late King-Father.

The prime ministers of Laos and Vietnam arrived here this afternoon to pay homage to late King-Father Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk.

H.E. Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand, also led a delegation to pay tribute to late King-Father this afternoon, and after that she will hold a meeting with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.
