PM Hun Sen Receives Visiting Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen received here yesterday afternoon at the Peace Palace visiting Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan H.E. Tsuyoshi Saito.

In the meeting, H.E. Tsuyoshi Saito expressed his appreciation to the development of trade and investment in Cambodia and thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia for its support to the Japanese investments in the country, H.E. Sry Thamrong, Delegate Minister Attached to the Prime Minister told reporters after the meeting.

H.E. Tsuyoshi Saito also appreciated the warm hospitality for the Japanese Crown Prince during his official visit in Cambodia in late June 2012, and conveyed greetings from the Japanese premier to Samdech Techo Hun Sen.

For his part, Samdech Techo Prime Minister expressed his profound thanks to Japan for its assistance to Cambodia.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also expressed his satisfaction with the Cambodia-Japan bilateral cooperation, stressing that Cambodia has now received not only the development assistance from Japan, but also Japanese investments.

The Cambodian premier hoped that more bilateral cooperation in investment and tourism will be further boosted.
