Cambodian Premier Arrives in Tehran

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen yesterday afternoon arrived at Mehrabad International Airport, Tehran, Republic Islamic of Iran for the 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit to take place on Aug. 30-31.

According to the special envoy of the National Television of Cambodia (TVK), Samdech Techo Hun Sen and his entourage arrived in Tehran at 15:05 pm (local time or 17:35 pm in Cambodia).

The Cambodian premier was welcomed at the airport by H.E. Haji Babaie, Minister of Education of Iran and Ms. Yos Makana, Cambodian Ambassador to Iran.

On Thursday afternoon, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will deliver a speech at the 16th NAM Summit being held under the theme: “Lasting Peace through Joint Global Governance”, said the special envoy.

On the sidelines of the summit, he added, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will hold a bilateral talk with H.E. Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and have a meeting with H.E. Kim Yong Nam, President of Presidium of Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
